Abstract: Learn workplace coaching concepts from industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology and how these coaching interventions can enhance workplace safety, through measurable improvements to employee behaviors, incident severity, and team dynamics.

Speaker Bio: Allison Short, MS, CSP, CIT, WCP is a safety management consultant for MEMIC and co-hosts the “Illusion of Safety” podcast. She holds a master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology and is an affiliate instructor at Georgia Institute of Technology. Allison also serves as a ChapterWISE Co-Chair for the ASSP WISE Advisory Committee.
